Bespoke Day-Of Stationery Ordering Process

The ordering process for bespoke designed Day-Of Wedding Stationery consists of the following stages which typically takes between 5 and 6 weeks from the time of booking to delivery (UK).

Please feel free to contact me to arrange a call so I can answer all your questions.

wedding STATIONERY Timeline

You’ll want to have your Day-Of Details in hand at least 2 weeks before your wedding, including table name cards for your guests, table signs, seating plans and vow books.

Once you have your finalised guest list in place then your Day-Of Stationery can be made, but the designs can be dreamt up the same time as your invitations so that everything ties together seamlessly and is ready to go.

Booking in advance is highly recommended.

Timeline for bespoke wedding stationery designs

the process

1. Consultation & Quote

If you’d like me to create your bespoke Day-Of Calligraphy Stationery then please get in touch by completing the contact form. Don’t worry if you don’t have all the answers. I’ll provide an initial quote then we’ll schedule a video call once I’ve received your form to discuss your vision in more detail. I’ll then provide you with a more tailored quote to suite your requirements.

Please make sure you’re familiar with my work before hand. We’ll talk about the overall style that you want and how that can be achieved through paper, colours, calligraphy, embellishments and anything else.

This can take up to 6 working days.

2. Booking

Once you’re happy with your quote then contracts will be signed and you’ll pay a 50% deposit to schedule your project. Once booked you’ll be invited to a portal that will keep everything in one place. I’ll then send you a form to complete to gather the nitty gritty details. When I receive it back work begins!

3. Initial Concept

I’ll create a personalised mood board and provide you with up to 3 tailored stationery designs to choose from. We’ll narrow it down to one design and make any necessary tweaks.

Your designs will be presented either as sketches or digitally for illustration purposes only, although it’s possible for paper, printing and material samples to be sent to you so you can get a feel for the overall design. Up to two rounds of revisions on your chosen design are included with further revisions subject to an additional charge.

This process takes up to 7 business days.

4. Designing

I’ll create some mock-ups using your chosen materials and methods and share them with you. One round of revisions is included for minor changes. I’ll also source any additional materials such as paper or ribbon.

5 working days.

5. Making & Assembly

Once the remaining 50% payment is made and I have all the finalised information such as your guest names then I’ll create your stationery and calligraphy. There may be a time gap between this stage and the previous design stages as your final numbers will come together closer to your wedding date, usually around 4 weeks before.

6. Delivery

Your wedding stationery will be carefully packed up and sent by Special Delivery so it arrives the next working day. You should have your Day-Of details in hand around 2 weeks before your wedding date.

BESPOKE WEDDING INVITATiONS

I also offer bespoke design for your wedding invitations so your entire stationery can seamlessly bind together as it reflects your celebration.
