I could not be happier with the custom tags I ordered. There are a lot of talented calligraphy artists out there, but I must admit that Charlotte’s calligraphy is without a doubt the most beautiful I have ever seen!

Wedding Day Stationery FAQs

  • On the Day Stationery or Wedding Day Stationery includes all the necessary paper goods needed for a seamless ceremony and reception - yes, it’s important! This includes calligraphy place cards, individual menus, signage, printed programs and thank you cards.

Wedding Day Stationery not only serves a functional purpose - your guests will be informed about where they need to be and when - but also sets the tone for the overall aesthetic of the occasion as well as acting as a keepsake for the couple and guests to remember their special day.

  • As a bride-to-be, you may be wondering whether or not all of your wedding stationery has to match. The short answer is no, it doesn't have to match exactly! However, having a cohesive look throughout your wedding stationery can be aesthetically pleasing for your guests and can make your wedding feel more polished and put together.

Cohesive doesn’t necessarily mean that everything has to be an exact match. Instead, consider using a unifying theme or colour palette to tie all of your wedding stationery together. For example, if your wedding invitations are a soft blush pink with gold foil accents, you might consider using a similar colour scheme in your menu cards, place cards, and other paper goods. This will create a cohesive look that is both elegant and consistent.

Of course, there is always room for creativity and personalisation. You might choose to have a more formal invitation suite, but then have fun and show off your personality with unique and playful place cards or table numbers. Or, you might decide to have a rustic, handmade feel to your menus and table numbers, while keeping your invitations more classic and refined.

Ultimately, your wedding stationery should reflect you and your partner's personal style and taste and your stationer can help you make all of these decisions.

  • If you're planning a wedding and need on-the-day stationery such as programs, place cards or menus, you may be wondering when is the best time to order them.

Ideally, you should book in advance your on-the-day stationery to be made at least two to four weeks before your event. This gives the stationer enough time to design, print, and deliver your stationery. Extra time is needed for those hand-finished touches like calligraphy. Booking your wedding day stationery at the same time as your invitations is a good idea!

However, if you're running late or need last-minute changes, some stationers offer rush services for an additional fee. If you need on-the-day stationery within a week of your event, it's best to check with the stationer to see if they can accommodate your request.
