Semi-Custom Invitations Ordering Process

The ordering process for semi-custom invitations consists of the following stages which typically takes between 5 and 6 weeks from the time of ordering to delivery (UK).

wedding invitation Timeline

You’ll want to mail out your Main Invites 4-5 months ahead of your wedding day, giving more time for a destination wedding of around 5-8 months ahead. This allows your guests to make travel arrangements.

Your Main Invitations, Details, Maps and RSVPs are sent at the time time.

If you’re opting to send Save the Dates then these are usually sent at least 2 months before your main invitations.

the process

1. Booking

Start by completing this form and I’ll hold your hand every step of the way. Don’t worry if you don’t know exactly what you need, we’ll arrange an online video call to go through all the options.

Should you wish to add any extras to your order such as bespoke calligraphy that isn’t already included or wax seals then we’ll do this at the same time. View customisations here.

Once the design details are agreed, contracts signed and deposit paid you’ll be booked and invited to a portal that will keep everything in one place.

2. Customisation and Proofing

You’ll be sent a content form to complete then all your personalised information will be incorporated into your chosen design/s. You’ll receive a digital proof for approval with 1 round of minor revisions. Further revisions are subject to a charge.

The customisation process can take up to 6 business days.

I found myself really looking forward to receiving the various design proofs because I loved seeing what Charlotte came up with.
