At this curious calligraphy class you’ll learn about two different methods that are used to create modern calligraphy. You’ll get to experiment with brush pens along with dip pens and ink - perfect if you’re completely new to modern calligraphy. You’ll learn how the tools are different whilst writing the alphabet and discovering the unique way that letters are formed. Demonstrations are projected onto a screen so you can see everything in up close detail as well as receiving plenty of individual tuition. You’ll finish by making some gift tags to take home featuring your beautiful lettering.

This workshop’s ideal if you want to create your own stationery or hand-lettered home décor, or are looking for a creative and relaxing hobby. Located in the centre of Wells close to all the shops, cafes and sights if you want to make a day of it.

Suitable for complete beginners and those needing a refresher with the opportunity to explore calligraphy in more depth at another calligraphy class: Brush Pen, Dip Pen and Ink.
